Under the title “Nothing hurts“, the lecture focussed on the ever-more indifferent embracing of comfort and the suffocating obsession with safety. Comfort, once a means to make time for essential tasks, has become an attitude; safety, once a means to prevent accidents an obsession driving entire industries.

In response, the lecture examined how an architecture of essence and movement has always and can still provide escape to sanity.
