Tokyo Designers Week 2011

Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, 2011

Following the acclaim of the Nakadai Pavilion 2010, FBA were commissioned as 2011’s Show Designer for Tokyo’s Designers Week.

Understanding the site’s inherent dynamism as essential characteristics of a design trade show in the middle of a city, FBA’s show design managed to turn the event into the most successful in its 26-year-long history, attracting an unprecedented 91,239 visitors.

FBA’s creative direction encompassed the overall layout of the exhibition, the Art Exhibitions, and the Ministry of Trade and Economics’ “Creating Heritage – Tohoku to the Future exhibition design.
